The turn of June and July is the beginning of the holiday season in Poland. This is an excellent time also for owners of cars with gas installations who plan domestic or foreign holiday and leisure trips. The price of gas in retail trade ranged from PLN 2.15 to PLN 2.25 per liter, with fuel prices ranging from PLN 5.30 to PLN 5.40 (data from the e-petrol.pl portal). 95 at stations was more expensive by almost 60%, and as we know in the holiday season, we can not count on major changes, which is why owning LPG in a car is real savings.
Check the technical condition of the car and installation

The first thing that the owners of the services are advised to do is LPG filters. Especially if they have not been exchanged for a long time, their replacement may be necessary. It is a relatively low cost, so you will not feel it on the holiday budget.
Another element is spark plugs that will help in burning poor quality of LPG mixture. While refueling in your area, we know gas stations and have some knowledge about the quality of fuels sold on them, then being on a trip abroad, it may turn out that we will reach the station where the butane propane mix has much worse properties.
The cooling system in cars with LPG installations is heavily loaded. Especially in the summer, when the heat is pouring from the sky, the fluid may overheat during the ride or leak. It is worth checking not only the condition of the refrigerant fluid, but also controlling its losses.
Is it always to refuel to full?
LPG installations are equipped with a valve preventing over 80% of its capacity. This valve is necessary due to the fact that the gas changes its volume in terms of variable temperatures. This is one of the best protection installed in LPG, but the valve can also be damaged. To check how it works in your car, we suggest a simple test. It is worth refueling the gas completely, use it to zero, and then refuel once more to rebound the valve. In this way, you can check how much gas can be refueled, if the number of liters is close to 80% of the total capacity of the container, it means that the valve is functioning properly.
