The FPE-Torpedo emulator is a fully programmable fuel pressure emulator. The FPE TORPEDO emulator simulates the gasoline pressure signal in vehicles powered by LPG/CNG. This fuel pressure emulator is designed for vehicles that report faults (DTC) related to the lack of gasoline draw from the fuel rail while running on gas. When the engine is powered by gas, due to the lack of fuel draw from the fuel rail, gasoline pressure increases above the nominal value. As a result, the gasoline computer shortens the injection times (or/and reports a fault). To avoid this problem, the FPE TORPEDO emulator should be used.

In the TORPEDO emulator, using a map from the revolutions, you can set exactly the same pressure value during LPG driving as on gasoline, thus eliminating the possibility of errors due to increased gasoline pressure during LPG driving. Additionally, you can set the variability of this pressure in such a way that the gasoline controller cannot distinguish the emulated fuel pressure signal from the actual signal by means of frequency changes in pressure and shifting the delta of the pressure signal voltage. The emulator is suitable for all types of cars with one fuel pressure sensor on the gasoline rail with variable PWM pump control and without variable PWM pump control. It is especially required in cars of brands: Jaguar, Ford, Volvo, among others.

For calibration, we use a standard interface such as for LPG system calibration.

The PFPE TORPEDO v 2.0 fuel pressure emulator is calibrated directly from the Optima 2.07 or newer application.

To connect to the emulator, use an interface compatible with OPTIMA controllers, such as the ALEX BT or ALEX OPTO interface.
